Cisco Wins 2018 AT&T Supplier Award

Cisco has recently won the 2018 AT&T Supplier Award after providing outstanding performance and service to AT&T. AT&T affiliates recognized the company’s contributions and thus giving the company the said title.

“We are proud of our long-standing relationship with AT&T and look forward to continuing to deliver technology innovations that reduce cost and complexity, helping to secure their network and grow revenue.” Senior vice president and general manager Yvette Kanouff stated in a release.

The company met AT&T’s criteria such us the provision of supplier diversity results, creative cost management solutions and teamwork. Not only that, Cisco offered creative cost management solutions, teamwork, customer service and product/service performance during the period.

“Over the last year, Cisco aligned themselves with AT&T’s priorities and exceeded our expectations in helping provide for our customers.” Executive vice president of AT&T Services, Inc. Susan Johnson told reports. “Together, we delivered smart solutions and exceeded customer expectations. And we did it all with innovation and leading technology. The commitment and contributions of Cisco has distinguished them as our 2018 recipient.”

Furthermore, Cisco has recently named its new New EVP and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Experience Officer. As announced, Gerri Elliott will now act as the executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer.  Maria Martinez  on the other hand will now be the EVP and Chief Customer Experience Officer.

Elliott will be overseeing the sales and marketing organizations of Cisco’s go-to-market strategy while providing growth opportunities for the company. On the other hand, Martinez will manage the customer loyalty  of the company while ensuring customers engagement to services and subscription offerings.

“I am excited to have two phenomenal leaders, Gerri and Maria, join Cisco’s executive leadership team,”Cisco Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins told reports. “Their collective vision and vast experience across software, networking, services and customer success are a powerful combination as we drive greater momentum with our customers and partners.”
